Hey, it's Chris with PrimalPal. Today I want to talk about cheat days. Every now and then, people are wondering what do they do with a cheat day, or a flex day if you will. With the PrimalPal Meal Planning system, it's very easy to incorporate a cheat day.
All you simply want to do is, let's say you are going to eat whatever you want, on Sunday or Saturday. Whatever day you choose, let's say it's Sunday. If they were Sunday, I would just leave the whole day blank in my Meal Plan. I would just know that Sunday is my day to eat whatever it is I want to eat.
You could be more strategic with your cheat days. We always tell people, "Use your cheat day as a way to experiment with some more Paleo friendly cheats." If I went over here for instance, let's say I wanted to have some donuts. I would normally eat donuts all the time. But let's say I want to eat some donuts. I'd search for donuts. This coconut honey donuts are delicious, I've tried this. Let's say I want to have those for breakfast on Sundays as part of my cheat day. I would just pull those over.
Use your cheat day to still stay with Paleo friendly foods, but maybe you eat some more sweet treats on your cheat day or something like that. I wouldn't stray too far and all of a sudden go Bean John, like fast food and stuff like that. I don't think that's advisable. But you can plan your cheat days in your flex days however you wish.
If you just want to have a day where you experiment in the kitchen and you try new things. You can obviously plan those or just decide that you are going to have a little fun in your kitchen and do whatever you feel like.
With PrimalPal it's your plan, utilize the tool and do whatever you need to do, to make sure that you stay on track and achieve your goals. Thanks for tuning in.
