Hey, it's Chris with PrimalPal. I wanted to shoot a quick video to answer a member's question about how often you need to plan your meals. Do you need to plan every single meal for the week? Our answer here at PrimalPal is, no you don't have to plan every single meal.
The beauty of PrimalPal is that it's as flexible as you need it to be. If you need to plan every single meal to keep you on track, then by golly you should plan every single meal. If you're the type of the person like myself, who would plan dinner and then just make extra at dinner for lunch the next day, then you should do that.
For instance if I was going to have the Stuffed Flank Steak for dinner on Monday. I see here that the recipe says it will serve four people. Well, if I have a family of four I may want to change this to serving six. When I do that I know I'm insuring that I will have extra the next day for lunch.
The other thing you might want to consider is if you eat the same thing for certain meal during the day. If you're like me I scrambled eggs pretty much every morning for breakfast except for the weekends. As long as I have eggs, I'm good to go for breakfast. I don't need to plan scrambled eggs everyday of the week.
The other thing is if you have a flex day like on a Saturday or a Sunday. If you eat whatever you want on those days, or you use that as a day to experiment with new recipes, then you may want to leave that blank and off your meal plan.
The reality is PrimalPal allows you to create a customize plan that you don't have to fit inside some sort of box or templated meal plan that is supposed to be a one size fits all. That's not how meal planning works. That's not how PrimalPal works. You can choose your meals. You can choose how many servings you want to make at each meal. You can adjust your Meal Plan as you choose. It's really up to you.
The one thing we do urge people to do is at least start out planning all of your dinners for the week, at least Monday through Friday. That's one of the reasons we give away a free Meal Plan every Friday that includes five dinner recipes, because if you have a Meal Plan for dinner, then you're more likely to have leftovers that you can then use for lunch. That will help you stick to your plan for the long term. Don't delay, go ahead and get inside a PrimalPal and plan your meals for the week.
