Hi, this is Chad with PrimalPal. I'm going to show you how to search and filter the recipes within the Meal Planner.
You'll notice on the right hand side of the page, there’s a "Search Recipe" bar and then also a "Filter Recipe Section." I'm actually going to minimize the "Filter Recipe Section" for the moment. The "Search" bar is really helpful if you are looking to plan a specific meal or a type of meal.
Let's say you are in the mood for some Sweet Potato Hash, you simply type in Hash hit the "Search" bar and all of the Hash recipes within the PrimalPal will be filtered for you to choose from.
If you're not quite sure what you're looking for, the "Filter Recipe Section" can be very helpful. Within the "Filter Recipe Section", it helps you narrow down different recipes within PrimalPal.
You can see that there's a filter for "Courses", you can filter by breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts and sides. You can also filter by "Cuisine" and you can see there's an American through Thai. You can filter by "Recipe Time." If you are looking for let's say a short, a quick meal to make. You can maybe squander less that 15 minutes or less that 15 to 30 minutes for a recipe. You can filter that way.
You can also filter by "Dish Type." This is really helpful if let's say you have an ingredient. Let's say you want a meal that incorporates beef, you can search by beef and then you kind of back into the recipe that you would like to plan.
You can also sort the recipes, you can sort by "Recently Added, by "Dish type", "Cuisine" and "Course". You can also filter by "My Recipes", if you saved recipes into your "My Recipe Box" by hitting the "My Recipes" button here. It pulls up all of the recipes that are in your favorites under "My Recipes." It's an easy way to just access your favorite recipes.
And then there is the "My Preferences" button. In "My Preferences", it will filter out all of the recipes that have ingredients that you might be allergic to or trying to avoid. You'll notice pizza tart here has cheese in it, it has dairy which I'm trying to avoid. If I hit "My Preferences" it will automatically take out all of the different recipes that have ingredients you are trying to avoid or you are allergic to.
That is the search functionality and filter functionality within the Meal Planner. If you've not currently a member of PrimalPal, I encourage you to sign up for a free 10 day trial. If you are currently a member, I hope that was helpful and it will help you plan your future meals within the Meal Planner.
