Instructions

Aioli Directions

  1. Put the avocado oil, egg, mustard, and minced chipotle-adobo sauce in a tall container and mix with a hand immersion blender on high speed to emulsify. (You may also be able to do this with a stand mixer or blender – mix until sauce thickens).
  2. Refrigerate until ready to use

Burger Instructions

  1. Fry or cook bacon slices, and set aside
  2. Sauté 1 whole onion on medium-low heat in a saucepan with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil
  3. In a bowl, mix together the raw ground beef (or turkey) with the spices and minced chipotle-adobo
  4. Gently form into patties for grilling
  5. Preheat BBQ grill – set to medium- to medium-high heat
  6. Cook patties about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they’re cooked how you like them
  7. Top cooked burgers with the caramelized onions, some aioli sauce, and avocado slices
  8. Try serving with sweet potato fries on the side
