1/2 cup Shredded Coconut, Unsweetened 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 ºF.
  2. Put the coconut flakes in a pan and toast in the oven until lightly browned, about five minutes.
  3. Line an 8×8 (or smaller) pan with parchment paper.
  4. Process the macadamia nuts and coconut oil in a food processor until very smooth. Add the coconut flakes and chia seeds and pulse a few times.
  5. Pour the batter into the parchment lined pan. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
  6. Freeze until solid, about 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into small bars. Store in the freezer.
