I listened to a podcast the other day that was talking about habit formation. One of the guys said to concentrate more on the type of person you need to become versus obsessing over the end goal.
It made a lot of sense to me in relation to living a paleo lifestyle. What type of person is healthy and fit? What does that person do on a regular basis that others don't?
The type of person who is healthy and fit probably has a plan around their fitness and nutrition. And here's the big personality trait that gets overlooked... they stick to their plan. They don't miss workouts and they eat nutritious food on a very regular basis.
Instead of obsessing over being a size "X" or having six-pack abs focus more on being the type of person that has those things. Soon the result will be yours.
